Right from your expression of interest to change career, you'll have the opportunity to hear from those who have already made the transition to teach, to help support you in your thinking.

Now Teach is there at each stage of your transition to become a teacher.

Why Now Teach?

We help you choose the course that suits you, give you two years of one to one career- changer focused support alongside a programme of events, and provide you with a ready-made network of hundreds of career changers just like you.

Applying

Our career advisors are experts in guiding you through the process to apply to a teacher training programme. The team support you when applying to courses and may recommend you to some of our partner training providers if appropriate.

Qualifying

Our two-year Now Teach Programme provides two years of 1-1 support, regular development events and networking opportunities, access to coaches, and a community of career-changer trainees.

Our team are there to support your transition and get up-to-speed with teaching, answer any questions, help you solve problems and liaise with your school and training provider.

Teaching

Once qualified, you continue to receive Now Teach support as an Early Career Teacher through our support programme and beyond into Network.

From the start, you will be able to engage with the Network’s activities as a career-changer trainee teacher. You will build relationships with other Now Teachers, particularly those in your cohort year and become a part of the community. We’ll help you celebrate completing our two-year Now Teach Programme, and becoming an active Now Teach Network member.

We are free of charge to you. Our funding comes from philanthropic donations.
