After retiring from a long career in investment banking, at the age of 60, Anthony Barklam turned his attention to teaching maths.
BBC Radio Surrey find Anthony six months into his teacher training, where he discusses his motivations for leaving his career in the city, what led him to teaching and how his new fun-filled challenge is his most rewarding one yet.
"It's terrific, I mean one of the reasons I wanted to get back into the classroom was because of the amazing teachers I had the pleasure of learning from, and certainly if I can be as inspirational to even one or two in the same way then that would be terrific."
