Laura had enjoyed a varied career across IT, shipping and owning a shop in her local community. But after the passing of her husband, she was in search of a fresh start. Teaching was never on the cards before, but after sampling what it could be like as an invigilator at her local community college, Laura has taught maths there ever since.
